New modern farmhouse two-story residence. Design done in collaboration with principal at TRG Arch. This was a modern interpretation of a farmhouse with horizontal siding highlighted with simplified trim details and clean roof lines. We incorporated elements like a living roof, a modern stairway with skylights above, and a large projected window at the front. Large corner doors at the back yard created a great indoor-outdoor transition.

This project was performed largely independently while working at TRG Arch. We were able to permit and build a very compact ADU with a loft bedroom, we used every ounce of space to tuck in a functional kitchen and under stair cubbies into the limited space. We worked hard to creatively place our windows to maximize the use of natural light including using the living room roof as a reflecting shelf to bring in more light into the building. The result was a bright modern space tucked in behind the existing main residence.

New two-story residence with traditional forms, but using clean, modern finishes. The smooth stucco and clean trim details give the house an up-to-date feel. This project was performed while working at TRG Arch. I was responsible for all drawings, and involved thoroughly in the design process, client meetings, and contractor coordination.

New two-story home with attached ADU. Worked performed as project architect for TRG Arch.

The traditional tudor style inspires the steep roofs, the dark trim, and the general shape of the house. There are some simplified traditional details along with more modern elements like the type of stone used and the large windows and doors in the back of the house.

I performed all design, drawings, permitting, and handled most client meetings for the architectural portion of the project.

Tear down and rebuild of a one-story modern ranch style house. Use of unique wire brushed cedar siding and standing seam metal roof throughout.

I performed all design work in this project after collaboration on initial concept as project architect at TRG Arch. My role was project architect, drawings, permits, and participating in all client meetings in city of Novato. Interior designed by owner although vaulted ceiling concept was an integral part of the architectural design.

Project designed while working for TRG Architects. I was the project manager, handling all drawings, and the great majority of client meetings and design work for the project. Worked on full outside of the building and did full interiors in collaboration with the interiors department at the firm.
